上海铁路集装箱中心站发展有限公司，是铁道部和上海市人民政府合资组建，由中铁集装箱运输有限责任公司和上海申铁投资有限公司作为铁道部和上海市人民政府的出资者代表。上海铁路集装箱中心站发展有限公司负责建设和经营芦潮港中心站，总投资额为人民币13.5亿元。芦潮港中心站于2005年12月1日正式对外营运，是纳入中铁集装箱运输有限责任公司和上海铁路局运输指挥的全国第一个集装箱中心站，也是铁道部制定的铁路中长期发展规划建设十八个集装箱中心站中第一个建成投入运行的铁路集装箱中心站。

China Railway Container Transport Co., Ltd and Shanghai Shen-Tie Investment Co., Ltd are the contributive representatives of both sides.Shanghai Railway Container Terminal developing Co., ltd works for the construction and management of Luchaogang Railway Container Terminal, the total investment was 1.351 billion RMB. Luchaogang Railway Container Terminal, the first terminal which bring into China Railway Container Transport Co., Ltd and transportation command of shanghai Railway Bureau, is going to operated formally in 1st Dec of 2005, also is the first completed and operated railway container terminal in the national railway medium and long-term 18 container terminals development plan which the Ministry of Railways formulates.
